FC Denton Draws Last Place Team

After thumping Crusaders S.F.A 12-1 in a rematch at home and ending their loosing streak, FC Denton took another stumble, as they continue to struggle away from home.

FCDTN traveled to face last place Retro United, at Breckinridge Park in Richardson, and ended the game tied 1-1; leaving them in 5th place and feeling their playoffs hopes slip away.

Denton was forced to play down a man, due to attendance issues, but were still able to control much of the game. Thanks to a goal from Joakim "Ewa" Coleman in the dying minutes of the game , Denton left with a single point and scratching their heads.

They now face a situation where they have to win the last 2 games left in the regular season, to have a chance at the NTPSL post season.

Both matches will be at home.

Denton will have a chance to face Retro United again next week, at The Eagle's Nest, Denia Park in Denton.

If they drops any more points, they may miss the post season for the first time in FC Denton history.
